A quick guide to public transport on the night.

Train• Circular Quay Station: trains will not stop at Circular Quay from

5pm to midnight as the precinct will be at capacity. Use Wynyard, Martin Place or Town Hall stations instead for access to the harbour foreshore.

• Milsons Point Station: trains from the city to the North Shore will not stop at Milsons Point from 6pm to midnight due to large crowds. Customers will need to alight at North Sydney Station and walk to their destination.

• Sydney Airport stations: trains will not stop at the International or Domestic stations from 12.30am to 4.30am while the airports are closed.

Bus• From 2pm to 6pm, Circular Quay bus services will operate from

Martin Place instead due to road closures.• From 6pm to 4am, all bus services will operate out of terminals

located in Hyde Park, Wynyard and Town Hall.• Note: Access to all buses on Carrington St, York St and Clarence St

at Wynyard bus terminal will be via King St only.

Ferry• Ferries stop running in or out of Circular Quay from 5pm. From 8pm,

all ferries will stop running.• After the midnight fireworks only limited services will operate from

12.30am towards Manly, Mosman, Woolwich and Neutral Bay.

Light rail• From 10.30pm to 2am, light rail services to Dulwich Hill will depart

from Exhibition Centre only, services to the city will terminate at Convention. No services operate between Central and Exhibition Centre until 2am.

Taxi• Temporary taxi ranks will be located on Liverpool St at Elizabeth St,

Sussex St at King St and Lime St at Erskine St in the city and on Pyrmont Bridge Rd at Pirrama Rd in Pyrmont.
