Your child’s needs and goals The purpose of this booklet is to help you get ready for your child’s NDIA planning session. We have used words the NDIS will use such as "needs" and "goals".

Before you start, you should think about:

h All the supports your child is currently receiving (from who and how often etc.)

h Which supports work, which don’t work and why

h Any support you might want for your child, or something you might like for them to do, that they are not currently receiving or doing

h How the NDIA might support you to do those new things
