• Company Facebook page– NOT a personal page!

• Use company name as page name

• Claim your URL– Requires 25 fans– Use name without spaces

• Even if you don’t update it often, you need to claim your page!

• Even if you don’t tweet, get your name reserved!– If someone has your brand

• Monitor Google Insights for:– SEO keywords– Brand names– Competitor names

• Updates once per day• When a spike appears to be

occurring, immediately write a blog post for that term

• Monitor social media to identify articles/mentions– Tools: Trackur, Radian6

• Monitor for brand terms• When mentions occur, check for a backlink

from the article/mention– If one does not exist, politely request

one from the author• High value links – contained within content
