(Fig 4,1) Note: Projector A is for tradional projector screen; Projector B displays interacvity on the SMARTboard. 5. To hear Audio select Loudspeakers (Fig 4,2) 6. Select Go (Fig 4,3) to display media and to hear audio. . Note: If projector screen is not pulled down, you will need to pull down projector screen to view media. To use the SMARTboard you will need to press the Power Buon on the SMARTboard. Crestron Touch Screen Panel

Getting Started in CL155

Introduction

Turn on the System

The Crestron Touch Screen Panel is an interactive, touch screen that allows users to control media devices: projectors, video, audio, and computer displays by manipulating the Crestron system controls on the touch screen panel. This document explains how to use the Crestron Touch Screen Panel.

1. Turn on the instructor station, the computer monitor on the right, using the power button on the side of monitor (Fig 1,1). Press Enter on the keyboard to log on.

2. Tap the Crestron touch screen panel. (Fig 2,1)

Note: The buttons on the panel are not needed.

3. Select desired Source. (Fig 3,1)

Note: Right PC is the instructor’s desktop

computer.

4. Select desired Destination. (Fig 4,1)

Note: Projector A is for traditional projector screen;

Projector B displays interactivity on the SMARTboard.

5. To hear Audio select Loudspeakers (Fig 4,2)

6. Select Go (Fig 4,3) to display media and to hear audio.

Adjust the Audio Volume

The audio volume should be adjusted using the audio controls on the touch screen panel. Audio volume may be raised, lowered and muted. To adjust the audio volume: 1. Press the volume down or up button on the audio

toolbar. (Fig 6,1) 2. To mute or unmute audio press the volume mute

button on the audio toolbar. (Fig 6,2)

1. Locate the document camera. (Fig 7) 2. Press the Power button to turn on the document camera.

(Fig 7,1) The power button light will turn green and the Doc Cam button under Source (Fig 7,2) will turn green.

Focus and Zoom: 3. Press the Plus or Minus sign buttons on the Zoom buttons

(Fig 7,3) to enlarge or decrease the magnification of the image.

4. Press the Focus button (Fig 7,4) to clarify the image. 5. Tap the Crestron touch screen panel (Fig 2,1) to display the

NOTE: Remember to Power Off both the display system and the document camera before leaving the classroom. You will have to manually turn off the document camera by pressing the Power button on the camera itself twice, and press the Power button on the SMARTboard to turn off.

1. To Turn off the projector tap Crestron touch screen panel. (Fig 2,1)

2. Press Power Button on the control panel. (Fig 9,1)

3. Press Yes to power off entire system (Fig 10,1) or Press Power off (Fig 10,2) under the letter of the projector you would like to turn off.
