• The Canterville Ghost (2015) Opera in one act. Libretto by the composer, based on Oscar Wilde’s “The Canterville Ghost.” First performed: May 9, 2015 by the Leipzig Opera.

• Joan and the Bells (2012), Cantata in three movements. Libretto by the composer, based on the legend of Joan of Arc. First performed: A CD recording by the Eric Ericson Chamber Choir (Stockholm) and the Russian National Orchestra was released in 2012.

• Plump Jack (1985-1887), Opera in two acts. Libretto by the composer, based on Shakespeare’s Falstaff First performed: In 1984, a scene from the opera was performed by the San Francisco Symphony. Two years later in 1987, a concert opera in four scenes was performed. A CD recording was released in 2012.

• Usher House (2014), Opera in one act. Libretto by the composer, based on Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Fall of the House of Usher.” First performed: June 13, 2014, Welsh National Opera, Cardiff, Wales.
