Mauria Finley saw an opportunity close to her heart – the $40 billion market for baby products was missing a “trusted source” for products and social recommendations. Leveraging her experiences from eBay, AOL and Netscape as well as her personal experiences as a mom, Mauria founded Citrus Lane in 2010. In April 2012, GGV led the company’s $5.1 million Series A financing along with existing investor Greylock.

Back in 2009, Quixey founders Tomer Kagan and Liron Shapira saw the game changing – the iPhone and iOs had unleashed an entirely new experience for mobile consumers. They were right: in 2013, consumers will download more than 100 billion apps and purchase more than 1 billion smartphones. Today, Quixey is at the forefront of innovation across mobile search and personalization, handling hundreds of millions of searches every month. In September 2013, GGV invested in the company’s $50 million Series C financing led by Alibaba Group with participation from existing investors Innovation Endeavors, TransLink Capital, USVP, Atlantic Bridge and WI Harper.

GGV invested in the company’s $60 million Series D alongside Redpoint Ventures, Benchmark Capital, Index Ventures, Goldman Sachs, CRV and Matrix Partners.

The online travel market is more than $400 billion globally, and mobile bookings are set to grow more than 3X over the next 2 years. HotelTonight founders Sam Shank, Jared Simon and Chris Bailey are set to lead the charge. Since its founding in 2010, HotelTonight has expanded to more than 150 destinations in 15 countries around the world. In September 2013, GGV invested in the company’s $45 million Series D alongside Coatue Capital and existing investors First Round Capital, Accel Partners, Battery Ventures and USVP.
