Distinguished Speakers Include:

“As an emerging oil and gas economy, Ghana is bound to face challenges consistent with that industry. Government is aware that the best way to confront these challenges in order to achieve its ‘Be er Ghana Agenda’ is by shared experiences. That is why the platform which you provide stakeholders and other industry players in the oil and gas industry to share ideas, experiences and information is commendable…..

It is therefore both appropriate and timely that your company once again intends holding a similar conference in the fi rst quarter of next year to focus on upstream and downstream investment opportunities and local initiatives. These concerns are of immerse priority to government in its desire to maximize local content in the oil and gas industry.”

“This seminar is an important milestone in the country’s march towards the acquisition of critical skills, knowledge and competencies that would enable Ghana benefit from the oil and gas industry that is about taking roots in our economy…I have personally scrutinized the content of this seminar, and I must admit that it addresses some very pertinent issues that I am sure would enhance the closure of the knowledge gap on the oil and gas industry in Ghana….I wish to once again commend the organizers for a good job done.”

Dr Oteng Adjei, Honourable Minister of Energy, Republic of Ghana

“What was particularly notable was the day one turnout for the CWC Group’s Ghana Oil & Gas Summit, and the fact that day two seemed to have retained about 80%-90% of the first day’s attendance, a rarity for most events, especially an inaugural event. And the Ghanaians were there in full-force to express their interest in forming alliances with international companies to enter and/or expand in the field, and to develop their national skill base.”

Dianne Sutherland, Chief Editor, Petroleum Africa
