Adapted from Beo Beo, Oktober 2006 / Make Your Mini Book: http://notredamke.rkc.si/english/minibook/MiniBookInstructions.doc He sees a red ghost hiding in a tree. “Will you be my friend?” he asks. “No,” says the red ghost. “I only play with red ghosts and you are white!” Ghosty is sad. He flies away. He flies around and sees a blue ghost hiding in a bush. “Will you be my friend?” he asks. “No,” says the blue ghost. “I only play with blue ghosts and you are white!” Ghosty is sad. He flies away. The blue ghost says: “I want to play too.” The red ghost says: “I want to play too.” The yellow ghost says: “I want to play too.” The green ghost says: “I want to play too.” Ghosty and his black friend say: “Come and play with us. We play with everybody!” Now they are all happy and they play all night. The sun rises and they go home to sleep. Tomorrow they will play again. He sees a black ghost hiding behind an anthill. “Will you be my friend?” he asks. “Yes,” says the black ghost. They are both happy. They fly around, they sing, they dance and they scare together. They make so much noise that the blue, the red, the yellow and the green ghost come to see what is going on. Now they are sad. They also want to play … He sees a green ghost hiding under some leaves. “Will you be my friend?” he asks. “No,” says the green ghost. “I only play with green ghosts and you are white!” Ghosty is sad. He flies away. This is a little ghost. His name is Ghosty. He is white. He has a mum, a dad and a brother, but he has no friends. He is lonely and sad. So he flies off to find a friend. He sees a yellow ghost hiding behind a mushroom. “Will you be my friend?” he asks. “No,” says the yellow ghost. “I only play with yellow ghosts and you are white!” Ghosty is sad. He flies away.
