Chapter no.1

Login-GIFT Admission Portal

Summary

GIFT Admission portal is a platform generated for students to get admission in GIFT University online. Enter URL:

http://admission.gift.edu.pk/ on your browser, a login form will open fill the required Form No and password.

This chapter tells the process of login, forget password settings and sign up on GIFT Admission portal.

How students can apply online?

1. Enter URL: https://www.gift.edu.pk/ on browser

From GIFT University website, select Apply Online.

2. Enter URL: http://admission.gift.edu.pk/ on browser

Click on sign-up to apply online

Click on Sign Up at the bottom left corner of Login screen.

Fill the required fields and click on submit button to sign in into admission portal.

How to Login on Admission portal?

Enter URL: http://admission.gift.edu.pk/ on your browser, a login form will open fill the required Form No and password.

Enter Form No and Password provided by university. You must need to enter correct Form No and Password to login to

admission portal.

After login, student is forcefully asked to change password

How to reset the password on Admission portal?

If you forget your password, click on Forget Password at the bottom of screen.

Enter your Form No and Registered Email, then click on Submit to change password

Apply by walk-in

If students apply physically by coming to University campus, an enquiry of student is generated in GUIS (GIFT University

Information System)

Set prospectus status and assign a Form No to student.

A message and email containing test details and interview information is delivered to applied students.its alos visible on

students admission portal.

After login, students can view dashboard

If students need any help regarding online admission, they can do live chat with agent and gets help.Fill your Name,

Email,Subject.leave a message and our agent will response.

Chapter 2

Admission

Summary

In order to get admission in University, students must need to fill the Application Card.

This chapter shows the Application Card, View Application Card, Test Information, Interview Information, Missing Documents, Merit Sheet,

Bank Challan, Admission Toolkit and Admission Tracking.

1. Application form

Click on Admission, a drop down list will open. Select Application Card

Read all the instructions carefully and fill all mandatory fields to finalize the admission.

After finalization, no information can be changed.

1.1 Personal information

Fill all the fields carefully, after finalization you will not be able to make any changes.

For applying hostel and transport, students need to submit separate forms.

1.2 Father/Guardian information

Fill the information about your father or guardian, if your father is also your guardian fill the same data in both fields.

1.3 Educational Information

Students must need to fill all the information about his/her previous education

1.4 Scholarships

Add a scholarship, than open the dropdown list to select the suitable scholarships to apply

1.5 Questionnaire on Enquiry Source

Click on “+” to add “Questionnaire on Enquiry Source” and select the source from where you come to know about GIFT University.

Upload CNIC/ B form copy and last degree.

1.6 Required Documents Details

Select last degree from dropdown list and upload it.

2. View Admission Form

Student can view his/her admission form

3. Test Information

Students can view date and time of test

4. Interview information

After entry test, an interview is conducted for students.

Students can see their interview date and time.

5. Missing Documents

If student forgets to submit any of the listed documents at the time of admission, he can upload missing documents here.

6. Merit Sheet

If a student is selected, a merit list is issued to the student.

7. Bank Challan

After selection for admission, students need to submit the fee.

Student must need to download fee voucher, and after submitting fee in bank upload the bank challan receipt

7. Student Toolkit

After admission, university provides a toolkit to the students which contains university email, times account ID and Password

and student Domain’s ID.

8. Admission Tracking

Admission Tracking shows the work flow of student’s admission process.

Fee calculator

Summary

Student can calculate his/her fee at Admission portal after adding the scholarships offered to the student by University.

How to calculate the fee at Admission Portal?

Student can calculate fee per semester after checking whether any of the following discounts are offered to him/her.

After filling the discounts, click on calculate to check the current fee after discounts.

Expected fee advice note

Student can view the complete details of fee whether the scholarship is offered to student or not.

Chapter 4

Financial Assistance

Summary

Students can apply for Financial Need Assistance by filling Financial Need Assessment form on GIFT Admission Portal.

Step 1: Click on Financial Assistance

Step 2: Fill all the Mandatory fields in Financial Need Assessment Form.

Step 3: Click on Save to submit the form.

Step 1: Email address is readable only, which is entered at Application Card.

Step 2: Read the instructions carefully and submit all the required supporting documents.

Step 3: Submit scanned copies of following documents in pdf and jpeg format.

Step 4: Select the Application Type.

Step 5: Read all the instructions carefully and tick mark the undertaking.

Personal Information

Personal information is only readable to students as it is entered at Application Card.

Select Yes or No, is any of your family member studying in GIFT University.

Academic information

Please select at least 1 scholarship you wish to apply through Advantage

Financial Expenses

Step 1: Enter information about family income per month

Step 2: Enter family information.

Step 3: Enter family expenses information. (Leave irrelevant fields blank)

Step 4: Fill the details of property owned by family

Step 5: Fill the loan information, if your family have any outstanding loan.

Step 6: Select any option, if you have ever received any financial assistance from GIFT University.

Personal Statement

Please write a personal statement in support for your application for scholarship.
