What is the Girl Effect Challenge?• Fund will be split evenly among 12 projects for one year
– Girl Effect Fund: > $375,000 was raised in 2011
• 6 Winners determined by the number of unique donors received during the Challenge
• 6 Winner chosen by the Girl Effect expert panel– Selected based upon how they incorporate innovation into
their approach, curriculum, and work, as well as how they effect positive change for marginalized adolescent girls.

• Organizations that are new to GlobalGiving: Once you enter a project it will automatically be added to the Challenge• You will earn a permanent spot on GlobalGiving.org if you
raise $4000 from 50 unique donors during the challenge, even if you aren’t a winner.

Giving Options: Providing a reference point
• Donation options describe what a specific donation amount will provide.
• The KEY is to show the impact that each donation has, linking that donation to something tangible and meaningful
• Include donation options of all levels.
• Donation options must be at least $10
