Narrative

So we are at the meeting

On a cold Thursday evening

Going on with our normal Girl Scout Greetings

When we hear a hiss and a clang, we all start screaming

Being the scout I am

I’m calm, cool, and collected

But not this time

I seem to be just the opposite

I ran outside to see what the fuss was about

It turns out the noise was just a cat,

that had turned over the trash can

That cat now sits in my lap!

People point and laugh at what they have seen

I love long road trips

Especially with girl scouts

Although we get bored

We always stop for candy

It is great when we get there
