The culmination of persistent and coor-
dinated team work, the fest brings out
the best in everyone-students and fac-
ulty members alike. The two day event
that was held on the 26th and the 27th of
August began on an auspicious note
with the ceremonial Prayer and song.
The first day had numerous on-stage
events like Mehandi competition, Face
painting, Best out of Waste, Fireless
cooking, Bridal make up ,Nut balance,
Pot Painting, Rangoli, Hair do, Col-
lage, Vegetable and Fruit carving and
much more. All the events saw the en-
thusiastic participation of students with
all of them eager to exhibit their tal-
ents. All the events went on smoothly-
thanks to the efforts of all the coordina-
tors and the Student Council Members.
Bridal make up was indeed the high-
light of the day. The students dressed
themselves in the most beautiful and
traditional attires offering a
scintillating panorama which
indeed lit up the day. All the
events of the day wound up
3:00pm.
The second day, that is on
the 27th august had the ener-
gy of the college in a crescen-
do with the whole college
grooving to the beats of mu-
sic. The events included solo singing,
solo dance, duet dance, group singing,
group dance, mime, skit, short film .
The icing on the cake was the fashion

„Colours‟ .The girls set the ramp on
fire with their sashays and dance

Expression 2019, with the theme “You
define your Thoughts” was a great plat-
form for students of Sacred Heart

their talents and skills in a remarkable
manner. The theme for the fest was
chosen to remind every student about
how their thoughts have an impact on

INDUSTRIAL VISIT BY DEPT OF MANAGEMENT Industrial Visit: Trips are one of the reasons
which build the connection with our classmates as
well as the faculty .the little joy we get clicking
pictures and making memories become an unfor-
gettable part of our lives. Not only making memo-
ries we also gain extreme knowledge about the
places we visit which are above the text book infor-
mation. Experiencing it practically by visiting the
place and looking at how the equipment's work is
one of the best teaching skills.
Sacred heart girls‟ first grade college, Department
of Management organized an industrial visit for the
final year B.com and II BBA students on 23 Au-
gust 2019. The students were accompanied by the
faculty members Ms.Ranjitha. N, Mr. Santhosh
Kumar Asst. Prof. Department of Management,
Ms. Hepzibah Sheema, Mr.Arun Emmanuel. With
excellent faculty support and god‟s presences the
class of II BBA and III B.COM started off the visit
to the Mysore Mymul milk union Ltd-KMF and
Mysore sandal oil factory.
It was certainly a great experience and a well co-
ordinated visit. To see the equipments right in front
of us practically is all we students need for better
understanding. This opportunity was grabbed by
each and every student. Questions were raised and
the guides answered it in a very satisfying manner.
We started off the day first with the milk factory.
It certainly is a worthy experience to see how the
milk we drink is actually being processed and how
it reaches our doorsteps. We came across the entire
procedure and realised that the factory takes care of
the necessary precautions and makes sure the cus-
tomer gets the right quality of milk. It certainly
avoids the adultery factor that most of the other
brands use. After that amazing experience we con-
tinued our journey and the next stop was the mes-
merizing and soothing Mysore sandal oil factory.
The aroma of the sandalwood will never be forgot-
ten by the students of Sacred Hearts. But more than
the aroma the visuals and practical information of
the legendary Sandalwood factory provided was
different. Our next stop was the evergreen Mysore
Palace. This palace tells us what our history is and
also gave us brief information of the cultural herit-
age. Thus industrial visit not only made the stu-
dents aware of the making of the products but also
shows us how important these industries are for our
country.
