HOW TO APPLY

FOR AN

OPPORTUNITY?First of all, log on

internships.aiesec.org andsign up for an account there.

One important thing whilesigning up, remember to

choose your right LC,which is "Foreign Trade

University - Hanoi".

It is essential that yourprofile be completed to thefullest. The more detailedyour profile is, the biggerthe chance you can findsuitable internships.

In addition to having anaccount on GIS, make sureyou have joined InformationSeminar (IS) and Out GoingPreparation Seminar (OPS)

organized by us because youcan only get IR support withyour matching after havingattended these events.

Only when your profile has beenFULLY UPDATED can you apply foropportunities. Keep your eyes on the

"SHOW PREMIUM PARTNEROPPORTUNITIES" button, turn it onto see all the desirable internshipopportunities from organizationswhich are AIESEC's partners.

However, if no result is shown, youcan turn it off.

Keep rolling down andlook at the right side. Youcan seek for opportunities

based on theirdescriptions. Rememberyou are allowed to tick

more than one.

Remember that withoutinteraction in 21 daysconsecutively, youraccount on the systemwill be automatically

deactivated.

Next step, click to viewall information of anopportunity, and if it isthe one you have beenlooking for, click "APPLY

After you are sure and click"YES, APPLY!", if the opportunitymanager is interested in you, heor she will invite you to one ormore interviews online, throughemail. However, if there is noprogress in 10 days, you cancontact IR team to get youthrough the opportunity

manager.

The range of 6 numbers atthe end of the opportunitylink on GIS is called TN ID,which makes it way easier tosearch as well as differentiatethat opportunity with the

others.

However, if you everchange your mind andwant to withdraw yourapplication, go to "My

Applications".

Find the opportunity youwant to withdraw from,then click "Withdrawapplication". Soundssimple enough!

But you have toremember that once youhave withdrawn anopportunity, you CAN

NOT renew it.

If you pass the interview,which means you are

accepted by the opportunitymanager, you will be invitedto sign the Acceptance Note(AN). Don't forget to inform IRteam of this. IR will considerwhether you should sign it or

not.

Remember to read the AN reallycarefully before signing it. This is toensure your awareness of yourresponsibilities and to make sure

that you agree with all theconditions stated. And after AN issigned, if you get approval fromboth opportunity manager and EP

manager, you are officiallymatched!

CAUTION!You can be accepted by a number of TNs, but you MUST choose ONLY ONE to realizeand sign AN.

If you reject the internship after you have been accepted by the company and signed the

AN, which is considered BREAKING MATCH, you will be obliged to PAY FINE according

to our Exchange Programme Policy (XPP) and company's requirements. Moreover, you

are not allowed to take part in any exchange programme through AIESEC in the future.

You have the right to break match WITHOUT punishment ONLY in these following cases:

b) You are clear about the visa/work permit regulations BEFORE buying flight ticket but adelay was caused by third party and this delay fundamentally changes the conditions ofthe exchange (Proof required).

c) You have an emergency in your family (Proof required). In such case, after breakingmatch, you are not allowed to create any account on OP of join any activity of GTP for thenext 6 weeks.

d) You become ill and the situation can be dangerous for your health (Proof required).

e) You may be put in danger due to the area where you work being formally decared inemergency due to war, natural disasters, people revolution, and terrorism attacks.

a) You have not received all necessary documents required for application for visa/workpermit from the hosting LC (including invitation) within 2 weeks, which has resulted inyou not being able to commence with the exchange; or you were not informed of thetimeline for provision of any reuired documents.

Beside the opportunities on GIS, wealso provide some opportunitiesfrom our partners, which you maynot find on GIS. Whenever theseopportunities are available, all

information will be public to the EPfacebook group introduced in ISand OPS. You will apply for theseopportunities by sending your CVvia email to BOTH the opportunity

manager and IR team.
