WHO IS PROVISTA INTERNATIONAL?ProVista International is a fully owned Norwegian company, engaged in the development and design of premium assessment equipment for the optometry and ophthalmic service. The company was established in 1999 and is headquartered in Arendal, Norway. Serving as one of two Sales, Marketing and Education Centers for Good-Lite in Europe, ProVista International specializes full time in vision assessment and testing equipment.
ProVista International has its own clinic at the Norwegian College University in Optometry and Vision Science and holds a number of contracts for research projects and education for a variety of students in vision science.
WHO IS TRUSETAL VERBANDSTOFFWERK GMBH?Trusetal Verbandstoffwerk GmbH is a German company working as a distributor and manufacturer of innovative medical products and specializing in high quality eye-instruments for the assessment of children, adults, and individuals with special needs.
The company was founded in 1993 and has since grown to a national and international main distributor of diagnostic eye products, including LEA Test System products from Good-Lite, USA. Trusetal Verbandstoffwerk GmbH is the second of the two Sales, Marketing and Education Centers for Good-Lite in Europe.
WHO IS THE GOOD-LITE COMPANY?Good-Lite opened its doors for business in 1930. Today, Good-Lite is the industry leader in vision screening and testing equipment. Good-Lite’s numerous achievements since 1930 include working closely with Louise Sloan, PhD, of the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins, to develop and produce the first commercial chart using Sloan Letters. Today, Sloan Letters continue to be the optotype of choice for many medical and eye care professionals and are used in clinical trials worldwide.
Good-Lite is the official, worldwide manufacturer of the complete LEA Test System developed by Lea Hyvärinen, MD, PhD, pediatric ophthalmologist, of Finland. The LEA Test System includes LEA Symbols, LEA Numbers, and multiple tests to examine individuals with impaired vision.
