LED grow lights give you greater control over your crops. While sunlight comprises the entire spectrum of light, LED grow lights can be customised to stimulate different photoreceptors in the plant. Blue light stimulates phototropins and cryptochromes, for example, governing germination and elongation. Red light stimulates phytochromes, which regulates flowering for example, governing germination and elongation. Red light stimulates phyto chromes, which regulates flowering.
