1. Open all four files in Photoshop

background.jpgeggs.pngdragon.pngbubble.png

2. Go to the eggs.png file and using the Move tool (V), drag the eggs onto background.jpg.

3. Create copy of the eggs layer (Cmd+J).Name the new layer ‘2 eggs’. Hide the original layer (Layer 1).

9. Go to the ‘2 eggs’ layer and delete the middle egg by using the rectangular Marquee tool (M).

Deselect rectangular Marquee tool (Cmd+D).

5. Using the free transformation tool (Cmd+T) adjust the size of the bubble to the egg in the middle.

6. Right click in transformation tool and choose Warp to shape the bubble close to egg’s shape.

4. Go to the bubble.png file and using the Move tool (V),drag the bubble onto background.jpg.

Name new layer ‘bubble-egg’.

7. Desaturate the bubble-egg (Shift+Cmd+U)

Or Image -> Adjustments -> Desaturate.

8. Change the opacity of the ‘bubble-egg’ layer to 40%.

10. Go to the dragon.png file and using the Move tool (V), drag the dragon onto background.jpg.

Name the new layer ‘dragon’.

11. Using the free transformation tool (Cmd+T) adjust the size of the dragon to fit inside the glass egg.

12. Right click in transformation tool and choose Warp to shape the dragon so it looks like it’s sitting perfectly in the egg.

13. Make a New Layer and name it ‘highlight’.Select this layer.

14. Set the brush to 0% hardness and the size to 15.Draw a white spiral inside the bubble egg.

15. Go to Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur, and set the radius to 9.2.

16. Set the layer Blending mode to Overlay.

17. Select the following layers:

‘dragon’‘bubble-egg’

Merge the layers (Cmd+E).

18. Select the following layers:

‘dragon egg’‘2 eggs’

Create a copy of them (Cmd+J)

This is what the eggs look like.

Now that we’ve put the dragon in the glass egg we’re going to add reflections and shadows.

Merge the two copied layers together (Cmd+E).Rename the merged layer as ‘reflections’.

Rename the merged layer as ‘dragon egg’.

22. Make sure that the layer mask is selected.

Use the gradient tool (G).Make sure the preset is set to black and whiteand the gradient Mode is set to ‘Normal’.

21. Create a layer mask (located at the bottom of the layer panel) on the ‘reflections’ layer.

19. Select the ‘reflections’ layer.Go to the free transform (Cmd+T).Right click, and choose Flip Vertical.

20. Adjust the position of the reflections so they are exactly under the eggs.

23. Toggle the visibility for ‘Layer 1’.

Make a gradient from the bottom of the reflectionupwards.

25.Use the transformation tool (Cmd+T) to shape them as drop shadows.

26. Go to Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur, and set the radius to 6.

24. Double click on the layer and select Color Overlay orgo to the bottom of the layer panel and choose ‘Fx -> Color Overlay...’ Change the color to black. Click OK.

27. Move the ‘reflections’ layer under the ‘Layer 1’.
