The students managed their animals well and the classroom displays were excellent. Huge thanks to Glenbervie School PTA for their fundraising and support. Thanks also to staff for organising great classroom displays. We are fortunate to have the likes of Maryanne, Lianne, Noel, Paula, Wilma, Julie, Judges, Stewards, Runners and those that helped make the day possible. Thanks to our sponsors who support the day: ANZ Bank, A&P Society, RD1 and Farmlands. Glenbervie School Values RRIPS Respect, Resilience, Integrity, Perseverance and Self-Discipline. Our current school-wide focus on values are: Perseverance and Self-Discipline. Respect continues throughout the year as a focus schoolwide. Anyone interested in attending is most welcome. Teacher Only Days: Please note Glenbervie School will be closed on Friday 24 th October and Tuesday 28 th October for Teacher Only Days and Monday 27 th October for Labour Day. Safety Reminders: Students that are walking home from the Bus Bay area must wait until all 3 buses have left the school before they start walking home. Please remember that all walkers should wear their fluro vests. Agricultural Day Cups: Please return all Ag Day cups/trophies to the school office ASAP so that they can be engraved. Maori Language Week/Te Wiki o te reo Maori: This week’s word/kupu is Tawhirimatea which means god of the wind. Glenbervie School 2015 Calendars and Diaries: Have your child’s own artistic creation transformed into a professionally printed 2015 calendar or diary. Orders need to be received and paid for prior to Friday 17th October. Calenders $13.00 each Diaries $18.00 each. Please make cheques payable to Glenbervie School PTA. We will not be doing the cards this year. A Night at the Library – DVD Orders: A re-order of DVD’s will be placed on Thursday 23 rd October. If you would like a DVD please send money in a named envelope to the school office by this date. There will be no further orders after this.
