According to statistics , the jewellery industry generates over 40% of its income in the months of November and December. Jewellery has the sharpest sales increase of any consumer product during the Christmas season.
In-home selling tends to feel the rush even sooner than this. Your display and creating a Christmas atmosphere to enhance your jewellery will account for 50% of your sales. It catches your customer’s imagination and sets a mood for Christmas shopping.

Hi Betty and Adam, I had a jewellery show Saturday afternoon. Sales were just on $450 with two bookings and one of the guests was asking me about the business at the very end. I spent about five minutes telling her about what I do. I told her a few basic points and then said, “Why don’t you meet me at head office and I will show you around?” We agreed on Thursday afternoon which was five days away. We continued to talk and I could tell she was really excited so I told her she was more than welcome to come to my home on Monday so I could tell her all about the business. She then texted me late that night to come over on Sunday with her husband. She did and has joined the business!
I asked her what attracted her to this business as she came to me enquiring about joining. She said that: 1. She noticed how I spoiled the hostess at the show with the free hostess gift, half price jewellery and free credits. 2. She loved how I gave the hostess a choice of gifts - no one else offers that.3. She loved that I was not pushy.4. She said I made it look so simple!
My motto is: “One party at a time, one Jeweller at a time. Be consistent and your business will grow.”
I set myself goals regularly and in July I pretended that I had no Jewellers and wanted to become a Sales Leader. I recruited five Jewellers from July to September so I reached my goal and became a mock Sales Leader in three months. Do I get a bonus on my bonus? Lol! Love,Marina Lykopoulos

Hi Adam,
Thought I’d send you a quick copy of what I wrote on my Facebook page about Mr. Moustache. My Dad was an amazing man. He was someone that everyone loved and admired and yet he was humble, proud and gracious. He gave up all of his own personal ambitions to stay in small country town for all of his 63 years and support the family he loved more than anything in the world. Needless to say I was devastated when he died. For me Mr. Moustache is more than just raising funds for prostate cancer research, it is a beautiful memorial to him and all the other dads that have been lost as a result of this horrible disease.
Once again the Butler family has surpassed brilliance.

Additional information, such as number of daughters or granddaughters or whether her son won his hockey tournament is important too. This information can be kept on file so when you call to tell her about the new line, book a show or invite her to join you in the business, she will be flattered that you remembered her so well and be open to your suggestions.
