Game Description
Set up area to play. Depending on the amount of children, look at ½ basketball court for
20 children
Start the game by explaining the rules
Rules
o Every child for themselves
o Students start by picking an animal to imitate (Goat, fox or elephant)
o When tagged a student will magically turn into the animal that they were tagged
by (eg : fox tags goat, goat turns into a fox)
Game Modifications
Have a team of each animal and see how many people they can recruit by tagging them.
Have a time limit on the game

• Proceed to play Rock, paper scissors
• Loser stands behind the person , placing their hands on their shoulders and start chanting their name and the winner moves around to find someone to play. This process continues through.

Equipment: 4 – 5 Soccer Balls
• Game description and Instructions
• Divide the group into two teams.
• Designate an end point or line the student must touch to be safe. (avoid collisions with walls and other objects in this game
• Line them up along a middle line of the playing area
• Students must face each other to start (can be in a standing sprint start position)
• Designate which side is the cowboys/Cowgirls and Indians
• On teachers command the group called out must run to the end point before getting tagged.

• Shorten or lengthen playing field

Game description and Instructions
• Set up in full basketball court
• Place three sets of cones in 3 squares up one end of the basketball court on the baseline
• Have a middle area where the 3 taggers will stand (eg : Middle netball third or equivalent)
• Set up students in three different animal groups
• Select two zoo keepers for the middle
• Students will attempt to get run away from the zookeepers for an allotted time If caught they will be placed back in their square
• Object of the game is for the zoo keepers to round up the animals in an allotted time

• Increase the amount of wolves

Equipment : cones, 20 bean bags / or Tennis balls, for Trash Compactor you will need two goals, or cones to make up a goal area.• Game Description (See Messy Neighbours for game set up)• Set up a goal area, either with portable goals or coned area• Set up cones in a half circle, 4 feet from the goal• No student is allowed into this area as they can defend anything
from outside the area• 5 points for getting an object into the back of the goal.• Goalie can only go into the coned area if the object comes to a

The Hunted

Game description and Instructions• Select 3-5 Students to be the Hunters• Students will run in designated Area (good start Half a basketball court)• Hunters start at the opposite end of the playing area• Object is for the Hunters to tag students out with the ball or slide the bean bag across the
floor and get them out by hitting the feet• When hit, that person becomes the hunter • Hunters can throw the ball between each other but can’t run with the ball.• Students can take up to 3 steps
Modifications• Increase the amount of taggers• Implement a skill base like Rugby pass• Place skipping ropes out. Pretend they are “Snakes” and students must leap over them. If
they step ion them they are also out

Game description and Instructions
• Full basketball court or equivalent
• 2 teams with No contact and 1 metre defending on opponents with 4 balls in play
• Players start in their defending half of the court
• Rules
• Players can run anywhere in the designated area
• When in possession of a ball players can run as far as they can to score a goal
• When crossing the midline and players have a ball they can be tagged
• When tagged they will place the ball on the floor and run off changing possession to the other team
• Designate an area around the goal where no player can go into (eg : a half circle simular to netball semi circle)
• Only can go into the goal area if a successful goal is scored.
• No goal keepers

Description
• Take an area the equivalent of Half a basketball Court
• Place a different coloured cone in each corner of the area
• The Instructor turns his back and the children have 10 seconds to choose a cone to stand on
• The teacher or instructor calls out the colour of the cone
• Those children on that cone are out of the game
• The game goes till last person is standing

Game description and Instructions
• Cone off two zones, 2 meters in from the end line and 10 bean bags placed in each area

• When to use : Warm up game, application of basic FMS
• Equipment needed : minimum of 20 beanbags.
• Must be run on an indoor basketball court or equivalent
• Game Description
• All children start in the playing area
• The object of the game is for the children to slide the beanbag along the ground
• To get another student out the bean bag must strike the foot
• Once out the children can do an activity before they re-enter the game
• Eg : Push ups, 5 catches with a tennis ball, star jumps
• Modifications
1. Children can for teams of 3 or 4 (depends on the size of your classes
2. Slecet an area where the children have to go when they go out.
3. To get back in, students must tag their team mates back in
4. If the while team goes out, they can sit out for 2 inutes and enter the game again
5. Outcome : Teams that have the least amount of total eliminations win the game

Dot Spot Crazy

• Equipment needed : Polidots x 10-15, Depending on the skill focus (Class set of Tennis Balls, basketballs or beanbags

• Utilise a basketball court but determine whether you use ½ or full court
• Place dots around the playing area
• Students will have their equipment depending on the skill
• The students will run around the playing area
• The polidots are a safe zone but the students must complete a task on the them while on there , eg : bounce the ball 10 times
• After which the run off
• If tagged they must sit out of the game for 60 seconds or they go to a jail waiting to be tagged out or even perform push ups or squats. Teachers choice.

• Set up the dots in a grid style. Make a square 4 x 4 (just use judgement on the amount of children you have

• Choose a Cat and two mice
• The object is for the children to run in between the gaps of the grid trying to catch the mice.
• Once a mouse is tagged they will tag a player on a dot and they swap roles
• Modifications
• For older students you can get them to place their arms out wide, creating a lanes
• The cats and mice must run up and down the lanes in this version
• To change the direction of the lanes ask the students to turn to the left or right
• This will change the direction of the lanes the students can run in

• Monsters in the middle will try and tag the students as they come in

When to play / Teaching Focus: End Game, Game Awareness and Strategies of games
Sport Focus ; Any team orientated sports
Equipment: 20 cones, class set of tennis balls or bean bags (min amount 30), 5-6 hoops, set of sashes
Description
• Set up cone on the outside boundaries of a full sized basketball court.
• As this is game based on line tiggy, The cones will be set up , so the children can enter running a line, so look for T intersections on the court
• Children will set up in a separate area in groups of 3-4
• Place hoops in random places in the playing area, but remember to place it near a line so the students can get the treasuresSelect you monsters
• All students must stay on the line at all times
• Students can run around the outside area but cant run on lines until they enter the maze through the gates
• They will exit through the gates the same way
• If they get tagged or go off the line with they will exit the game through the gates
• Students running off the lines are also out
