Council (EAC).
The EAC handles all matters pertaining to accreditation
of engineering degree programmes in Malaysia.

TECHNICAL ADVISORY ROLE
IEM members volunteer in various Working/Technical
Committees of Ministries and government agencies to
provide input or views of engineers pertaining to issues
such as national disasters, national development etc.

IEM members serve in drafting Committees on writing of
standards . Completed EC2, EC3 and EC7 (Part 1). IEM is
also registered as a Standards Writing Organization with
SIRIM.
