1. Overview

Global Business English는 KT 평창올림픽추진단 Business English 과정 학습자를 대상으로,

평창올림픽추진단의 실전 글로벌 커뮤니케이션 스킬 향상을 목적으로 합니다. 상황별로 가

장 자주 사용하는 말을 패턴화하여 반복 학습함으로써 학습을 충실히 했을 때 각 상황에 대

한 어휘를 실전에서 활용할 수 있습니다.

2. Chapter Composition

레슨 주제와 관련된 상황 예시를 먼저 눈

으로 읽고 파트너와 역할을 바꿔가며 대

화를 해본다. 제시된 상황을 통해 해당 레

슨의 학습 범위와 목표를 알 수 있다.

레슨 주제와 관련된 패턴을 연습한다. 패

턴은 1) 신고자에게 얘기할 때 2) TOC에

게 보고할 때 두 가지로 분류되어 있다.

각 분류에 따라 가장 자주 사용되는 패턴

을 3가지씩 학습한다. 제시된 패턴을 먼저

보고, 패턴이 사용된 예시를 보고 활용법

을 확인 한 뒤, 각 빈 칸에 자신의 문장을

써서 패턴의 사용법을 연습한다.

자신의 문장이 제대로 쓰여졌는지 강사

및 동료와 확인해본다.

1번에서 제시된 상황 외에 레슨 주제와

관련되어 발생할 수 있는 다양한 상황에

서의 질의응답을 생각해보고 브레인스토

밍한 결과를 질문과 대답의 형태로 기재

한다.

다양한 상황을 생각해봄으로써 2번에서

학습한 패턴의 활용 범위를 넓힐 수 있다.

3번에서 브레인스토밍한 결과를 자신의

팀원들과 공유한다. 공유한 내용 중 가장

많이 나온 상황, 혹은 실전에서 가장 빈번

하고 중요하다고 생각되는 상황 5개를 선

정하여 적는다. 팀별 상황 공유를 통해 패

턴 활용학습을 심화한다.

학습한 내용을 리뷰하며 마무리하는 파트

로 두 개 단계로 진행된다.

2~4번에서 학습한 내용을 바탕으로, 자신

의 부서에서 발생할 수 있는 상황에 대한

질의응답을 패턴을 사용하여 작성해본다.

그리고 작성한 내용을 speaking으로 발표.

이 때 동료들은 하단의 평가표를 보고 발

표자의 speaking을 평가한다.
