Project: Make A Difference

Alexandria, Egypt

NGO: SBOT (Social Business Oriented Team)

SBOT is a new initiative based in Alexandria, Egypt; Concerned with changing society using pure business skills and establishing the idea of social business not just as a term but as an effective orientation in society. SBOT consists of ten dynamic units working to spread the idea of social business and helping in raising the level of awareness, skills and creativity among the youth

Job Description

1. Establishing deals with 3rd parties entities.

2. Maintain the connections with (sponsors, partners...).

3. Considered the representative of the SBOT.

4. Introducing the SBOT to other NGOs in the field & setting the basis for relationships

5. Responding to all inquires about the SBOT.

6. Mediating, solving & removing eliminating external conflicts

7. Facilitates relationships with government officials & VIPs

Field of work: Marketing

Job Description

1. Design and develop marketing materials, SBOT brochure, articling brochure, personal & practice group images. Develop & integrate marketing activities across service areas, e.g. Logo, templates for request for proposals, power point, etc.

2. Keep website's content fresh & updated in coordination with the IT & Design Unit. Monitor production of marketing materials to ensure consistency & appropriateness

3. Publications (newsletters, TV programs) Develop & implement the SBOT advertising program-design and place advertisements; negotiate contracts with Media & PR Units; work with IT

4. Coordinate, review, edit & design responses to request for proposals.

5. Oversee special events, panel participation & other ad hoc marketing efforts. Internet & marketing research

6. Monitor various mediums for developments in the area of Business firms & Business firms' marketing & distribute articles of interest.

1. Assist and cooperate in all the Project activities

2. Try to find and establish innovative ways to sensitize people about the environment and introduce the recycling project.

3. Prepare some examples of daily behavior and actions done in your country that takes in consideration environmental issues

Project: Enter Your Future Many cities in Poland Field of work: Education Job Description 1. Before workshops at schools each trainee is obliged to attend preparation seminar organized

by hosting Local Committee 12th-13th May 2012. Trainee will gain knowledge on how to conduct workshops at schools and work with students and will develop presentation and training skills. Trainee should be prepared to take part in Global Village during his stay. He/She should bring traditional clothes, food, beverages, brochures, gadgets as well as presentation about the country and any other useful materials. From 14.05 till 24.06.2012 trainees in group of 3 will be conducting workshops at Polish schools for around 25 students from Monday to Friday. Trainee will have to prepare the interactive workshops for students concerning i.g., world issues, culture and entrepreneurship. The workshops have to develop student’s skills and knowledge. The topics will have to be discussed with trainee’s TN manager beforehand.

2. In each school trainee will spend one week. Every trainee will work in 6 schools in total.

3. Trainee will have to prepare presentation about his/her country and show it to students. Trainee should discuss cultural differences with students to develop their cross-cultural awareness.

4. Trainee should prepare extra activities for students e.g. games, competitions, sports activities. Trainee should take part in additional activities and events included in the project

5. At the end of every week of workshops, trainees are responsible for organizing Global Village in each school.

6. The schedule of workshops will be provided before starting the internship.

Results expected from the intern It is expected that after the project students will be inspired and motivated to be entrepreneurial and be proactive. Apart from workshops students will take part in additional activities organized by the trainee. Schools are satisfied with high quality of the workshops. All stakeholders know what is AIESEC and have the positive image of the organization. Start Date: 7th May

Project: Enjoy My Origin Wroclaw, Poland

Field of work: Education

Job Description

1. From 07/05/12 to 18/06/12 trainees will conduct workshops at Polish schools from Monday to Friday. The schedule of workshops will be provided before starting the internship.

2. The topic of workshops is about developing interests of pupils in culture, foreign countries as well as providing knowledge about the trainees' country through interactive classes’ games and presentations. If needed trainee should prepare extra activities for students for example games, competitions, sports activities.

3. Trainee should take part in additional activities and events included in the project. (Taking pictures of the workshops help creating a fan page on Facebook, participate in events organized by Enjoy My Origin)

4. In the middle of the workshops cycle, trainees are responsible for organizing Global Village (should bring traditional clothes, food, flags and any other useful materials) Global Village are presentations about the trainee’s country as well as conducting games and competitions for students.

Act Sustainable Galati, Romania The importance of money in this period of financial crisis reaches high levels. It is very important to know even young being, how to manage our savings and what should we invest our money in order to have a great profit. AIESEC Galati takes the initiative and develops a new project of non formal education, with themes that involve financial field, named: Act Sustainable. It is addressed to high school students, involving them in different activities and sessions of trainings. Act Sustainable aims to bring international students in a Development Internship to educate the high schools students in the field of economics through English sessions.

youngsters (especially football), and to make them inspired to live actively.

2. To be a team leader in football teams of different schools, to teach children how to play football, participate in football competitions between schools;

3. Attend workshops with the different NGOs and site visits so as to seek information about the actual situation in the country.

1. Working directly on field to have a direct impact on the marine environment, activities include field trips in the lagoons of Mauritius

2. The intern has to develop with his team mates workshops and activities for Tunisian youth to put under the ground effective treatments to the issues of (smoking, cancer and environment).
