Country ProfilesSelect a country from any of the regional frames on the home page. Click the name of a country to display the Country Profile.

Each Country Profile contains details about the country’s administrative and legal structure; country-specific news, legal, and regulatory information; general and EHS-specific public authorities; background information; and a list of key documents that each industrial facility should have, including:• General environmental requirements• Air emission management• Water management• Chemicals management• Hazardous materials management and transport• Safety management• Process safety• Emergency preparedness and response, including fire

prevention and response, accidental releases, and major industrial accidents

• Occupational health• A list of environmental and occupational safety and health

legislation, regulations, decrees, and directives

International ChemCiteChemCite is a quick and reliable way to research how chemicals are regulated by international governments. This research tool provides easy and instant access to thousands of chemical lists with information on how each chemical is regulated. Chemicals are listed by Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) Registry number or by chemical name and synonym.

Search ChemCiteIf the CAS number is known, enter the number in the Enter CAS No. text box and click GO.

To locate the CAS numberIn the ChemCite Research Suite frame, choose either containing or starting with under Enter Chemical Name. Enter the name or portion of the name of the chemical in the text box and click GO.

Note: Many chemicals have the same name but different CAS numbers. Be sure to click the linked number in the search results list to read the description of each specific chemical.

Chart BuildersBuild a chart to view and compare EHS requirements in one or more jurisdictions within your subscription. Click Country Chart Builder in the Country Chart Builder frame.

5 On the chart, click the x next to a heading to delete that row or column. Click Edit to return to the main screen in order to select/deselect topics and/or jurisdictions.

6 Add to My Folders — Save the chart for later use. See page 4 for information about using My Folders.

7 Export to Excel — Export the chart to Excel, and print or save the chart to your desktop.

To print the completed chart from Excel, use the Print function on your browser.

1 Choose Jurisdictions — Use the drop-down menus and select one or more countries.

2 Select Topic(s) to Display — Select specific topics to include in the chart.

3 Select Chart Display.

4 Click Create Chart.

My FoldersSave charts, documents, and searches.

PrintTo print documents, click the Print icon at the top of the page or next to the sections of text.

1 To save Searches, click Add to My Folders on the Search Options bar.

2 To save a Document or Chart, click in the document and then click Add to My Folders.

3 On the Choose the folder to place your item in window, save the item to the default folder or create a new folder.

4 Click Submit.

5 To access the saved items, click My Folders on the menu bar.

6 Click the column titles to sort.

7 Click the Wagon Wheel icon to display the Folder Options menu. Right-click on the Name of each item to display the Item Options menu.

8 To add a message, click the Notes icon + . A Notes icon without the + sign indicates text is added.

1 Select a text format. When batch printing, select Rich Text Format (RTF) to place section breaks between each document.

2 Review the list of batched documents and select/deselect the documents. Batch print up to 25 documents.

3 Click the Print/Display button to launch print preview. Source information is added to the top and bottom of each document.
