GLOBAL COMPETITIONUndergraduate and graduate students are eligible to participate.
Teams from all colleges are welcome.
How it works:STEP 1: Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s competition: February 14-16, 2020• Interdisciplinary teams are formed based on similar interests in need statement.• The teams then research the topic, plan, and build a simple prototype in 48 hours.• Each team develops a video and presents a prototype to a panel of judges.• Three teams are selected for first, second, and third place cash prizes ranging from
$1,000-$500.
STEP 2: The first-place teams from more than 40 universities around the world will then have about a week to perfect their pitch before submitting a new video that will be judged remotely for a chance to be named the overall first-place winner.
STEP 3: Chance to participate in the global competition at College Station: March 31-April 2, 2020Global winners will be awarded• $3,000 USD for first place• $2,000 USD for second place• $1,000 USD for third place
