Deborah has over 18 years’ experience in commercial property, and has worked in the UK and continental Europe both in a client investor role and latterly as a real estate advisor. Her knowledge of international commercial property markets is extensive.
Before joining Knight Frank, she worked for the Duke of Westminster’s property company, Grosvenor Estates, asset managing commercial and mixed-use properties in the UK and Spain. Combining this understanding of family office and her subsequent roles at Knight Frank running the European bank valuation team and as a Fund Manager at Knight Frank Global Capital Markets, she is ideally placed to understand clients’ long term asset planning and investment objectives.
As part of the Global Property Wealth team Deborah provides strategic commercial property advice to private clients and wealth advisors looking to allocate capital into Real Estate. She speaks Spanish and French fluently.

In response to growing interest in alternative asset classes, the Global Property Wealth team advised a private client from the Middle East on the acquisition of a boutique, serviced apartment/hotel located in London’s fashionable Notting Hill. Upon completion we worked alongside the client in sourcing a new operator to run the establishment and moving forward will asset manage the property to ensure that future investment value is preserved and enhanced.

BAVARIA, GERMANY
At the end of 2013 the Global Property Wealth team advised a consortium of families from Saudi Arabia on the acquisition of a 100,000 square metre logistics facility, leased to BMW, in Southern Germany. This acquisition formed part of a wider strategy to support the families’ long-term investment objective of building a core European logistics and office real estate portfolio. The team managed legal, financial and property professionals in Germany and the UK to deliver this acquisition to the client in a timely and efficient manner.

Co-ordinated through a single point of contact, this unique office instruction, in the heart of Mayfair, demonstrates the breadth of services available through the Knight Frank Global network. The team worked with the client throughout the lifecycle of the project, initially providing strategic development advice. Following the successful completion of the scheme, we concluded the leasing negotiations and were retained to manage the onward sale of the investment to a private American family office.

Following more than a decade working in both commercial and residential prime central London markets, Paul was instrumental in building and managing Knight Frank’s prime residential team in France, with a focus on the South of France and the Alps. Building on a long standing relationship with the owner of this 850 acre working estate, comprising a Grade II listed Manor House and farm, Knight Frank was instructed to manage the sale through a discrete marketing campaign. Our global reach generated interest from buyers from as far afield as South America, South Africa, Scandinavia and New Zealand. The sale was handled sensitively and concluded following offers from three overseas buyers.

Working with our colleagues in Singapore, we provided strategic investment advice to a long standing Singaporean client wanting to establish a mixed portfolio of residential and commercial investments in the UK. The client has a successful track record investing in Asia and was looking to expand their portfolio into Europe. In helping our client to formulate a clear strategy, we successfully acquired a number of assets on their behalf, including a selection of units in Canaletto – an exciting new development in one of today’s most vibrant districts in the City of London and a prime office investment in Central London.

In response to the growing interest in alternative asset classes, our specialist Student Property team provides a range of consultancy and transactional services for local, national and global student accommodation projects. We have a strong track record in the sale of key urban regeneration sites, as well as operational and established student accommodation properties and portfolios.
Goodman’s Fields is a mixed use, seven acre development in the heart of the City of London, where part of the development is allocated to high quality student accommodation, housing over 600 students. Knight Frank’s Student Property team provided the client with development and valuation advice from the outset of the project. We then secured a forward funding commitment from one of the UK’s main operators of student accommodation.

Jeremy has worked in commercial property for nearly two decades. The team presented the investment to a number of international investors, resulting in the acquisition by a private client known to Knight Frank’s Hong Kong team. Our team was instructed by The Crown Estate to provide strategic development and marketing advice for one of the most important Grade II* listed buildings in Central London, and the closest private house in The Mall to Buckingham Palace. Once these consents were in place, we confidentially approached a select group of potential buyers which led to a number of offers and the sale to a consortium of private investors. Their plans are to restore the property and create a stunning London home.
