4E Objectives• The 4E workprogramme promotes government actions that

encourage the use of energy efficient end-use equipment and systems.

• The 4E provides a forum for member country delegates and invited stakeholders to: - Collect and analyse information, share expertise and pool

resources; - Coordinate internationally acceptable approaches that

promote energy efficient end-use equipment and systems; and

- Develop greater understanding of policies and practices in the field of energy efficient end-use equipment and systems.

4E and consumer electronics• EDNA (Electronic Devices and Networks Annex):

- Monitor, measure, report and compare energy consumption of electronic devices and networks.

- Support the alignment of government policies to minimize excessive energy consumption by electronic devices and associated networks.

• 4E/EDNA supports the IEA digital energy efficiency action plan*
