A THOUGHT……..
• Global warming is a threat, one that will affect generations to come. The atmosphere surrounding us that supports life is a God-given gift. It must be protected.
• There is no debate among any statured scientists of what is happening. The only debate is the rate at which it is happening.
We are feeling WARM because of exceeding

Global WarmingAverage increase in the Earth's temperature
causes changes in the climate.A warmer Earth may lead to changes in:
Rainfall Patterns.Rise in sea-level.Wide range of impacts on plants.Wildlife.Humans.
Global WarmingEarth has warmed about 1ºF over the past
hundred years.
The Earth could be getting warmer on its own’ but many of the world's leading scientists think that the people are helping to make the warmer.
GLOBAL WARMING is the increase of the
Earth’s average surface temperature due to a build-up of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
CLIMATE CHANGE is a broader term that
refers to long-term changes in climate, including average temperature and precipitation.

Greenhouse Effect
The glass walls and roof of a greenhouse allow most of the sun’s light in but do not allow most of the heat to escape. This causes the inner temperature to be warmer than outside.
Carbon-Dioxide(CO2), and
water-vapour(H2O) acts like a
greenhouse gas, trapping heat
and making the Earth warmer.
Greenhouse Effect
This chart shows the warming caused by each of the gases that human activities release.
Mars has a very thin atmosphere with a weak Greenhouse effect. It’s surface is much colder than
Earth’s. In fact it’s frozen.
Venus has an intense Greenhouse effect. It’s atmosphere is thick with Carbon-Dioxide and other
gases that trap heat. Thus, Venus’ temperature is much higher than Earth’s—Hot enough to melt Lead.
How Global Warming Works
Fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas)
Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
Greenhouse gases
The Sun’s energy passes through the car’s windshield.
This energy (heat) is trapped inside the car and cannot pass back through the windshield, causing the inside of the car to warm up.

AFTERTHOUGHT….Mother Nature is healthy,
And has beauty and is wealthy
But with Global Warming in the way,
It will take Mother Nature’s beauty away
It will become hot,
Like a steaming pot
Leaves will become brown,
Then everybody will frown
We need coolness,
Not hotness
But also happiness
