Show Love. Stop Cyberbullying.

Let’s create a campaign that encourages teens to do the complete opposite of cyberbullying. Instead of tearing down someone’s self-esteem, let’s build it up. Let teens remind teens that being nice to others feels good.

Here’s our message: Your words make a world of difference. So, don’t spread hate, show love. Stop cyberbullying.

Possible Testimonies:“I tweet to share my world, not keep others from it.”“I have 300 facebook friends, and we love to love each other.”“Have you posted a positive message to your facebook wall today?”“I retweet positivity.”“I spread respect on twitter.”“I can text 26 words in 26 seconds, and none of them are harmful to others.”“I follow positivity on twitter.”

Print Ads Teens give a first person testimony as to why they would rather show love instead of tearing each other down.

‘I Got Loved’ Stickers on facebookTeenagers can go to the ‘I Got Loved’ facebook page and choose from an assortment of positive stickers to share with their friends. The school with the most positive posts will have their principal dress up as the ‘Love Monster’ mascot during a school pep rally. The rally will be recorded and posted on YouTube. Additionally, the entire school and faculty will receive ‘I Got Loved’ t-shirts.

FormspringUse formspring as a safe forum for teenagers to ask questions, share concerns and get some helpful answers.

TV Open on a group of “mean girls,” huddled together by their lockers. A girl, wearing over-sized glasses, walks by them with her head held down. She hears the group whispering. She’s startled by her cell phone ring. It’s a text: “Sweet kicks. Where’d you get them? - Natalie” She walks back over to Natalie and the other girls and converses with them about her sneakers.
