What it means to our group

To us its a linkage between nations. It is the gradual amalgamation of the essential day to day aspects of life of different nations and cultures leading into one global village. This is through different means this is discussed in the following sub categories

Mass media

Mass media is every type of media capable of reaching a lot of people as once. This could either be physically, verbally or visually.

With examples ranging from television , radio , books, magazines , pamphlets and even movies and songs

InternetThis type is a more interactive type of mass media and it is based on the world wide web. These carry different information through emails , chat rooms, file transfer etc

It is widely considered the most efficient way or relaying information to a large audience in no time at all.

A very good example is YouTube and through it certain aspects of different cultures has become rampant. A very popular example is Gangnam Style a song that managed to gain over 2 billion views all around the world and the dance was being done world wide

Economy

Due to facors like trade and interdependence of different countries, there leads to a common code of conduct including dresscode and language example english at international meetings and suits being the standard clothing aswell

Apart from the obvious dilution of culture where cultures are lost in modernism there is also:

1. Everything everywhere starts to look the same2. The sense of originality is lost3. Language dies in the process4. The populated or less wealthy practices are suppressed by the more powerful ones

There is a promotion of understanding between different groups

Tolerance is developed By coming together there is more world

peace More can be accomplished in terms of

eradicating world hunger and diseases Prejudice is destroyed

There is more success in working as one

Due to the fact that we know of the disadvantages. Globalization education aims at teaching how to avoid them so that as we move forward as a people, globalization has little to none negative effects at all. It is basically aimed at fixing the negative effects of globalization …………this includes:

Working using the 7 S system to come together beneficially

This type of education can be done in schools and at home

The media can be also used in a positive way to spread positive messages about each nation to each other to promote globalization with peace, harmony and compassion while still promoting individaul cultural retention

In conclusionIt is possible to create a

wonderful global village if the right measures are

taken to promote POSITIVE
