GLOBELINK UNIEXCO: New Website

A comprehensive Track and Trace system, including LCL quotations, customized

Schedules and special deals for Exports and Imports; these are the main

innovations of our new website.

As from September 15, Globelink Uniexco makes available to the market and our

customers its new website: www.gl-uniexco.com, a modern and fast real-time

communications tool which includes important new facilities compared to the

previous version.

The main innovations of the new website are: a full Track & Trace system with

information on origin and destination; possibility to obtain LCL quotations,

including a section with sample rates and customized Schedules and deals

showing the logo of the company. In addition, there is the possibility to switch to

a version in English with just one click.

From the Private Area of the website, users can access, real-time, a large and

detailed volume of information, thus increasing the efficiency of operations and

ensuring safety and loyalty to the customer.

The Track & Trace system allows full traceability of operations, from origin to

destination, up to the extent that you can tell if the end user has already

removed the goods from the destination warehouse. This specificity in the

information is unique in the market and makes Globelink Uniexco to be a

reference among maritime neutral Consolidators in Spain.

For export services, the user can obtain the Schedule and personalize it with the

company logo, make Bookings on line, get shipping instructions and confirmation

by email, quotations and LCL export rates, contact details of agents and

Globelink offices worldwide and in Spain, plus customized Track & Trace, among

others.

In the case of Import operations a customized Schedule can also be obtained,

including information about the emptying (devanning/stripping) of the container,

Surrender, invoice, as well as customized LCL Import rates showing the company

logo and the agents and Globelink Uniexco offices.

The LCL tool for quoting lets freight forwarder obtain a quick and accurate

quotation for any Import or Export service, which can then be passed on to the

Egypt New Documentation Instructions

Please take note the new important documentation process in Egypt:

A. FOR TEXTILE AND FABRIC GARMENT :

• Bound to Port Said via Alexandria, the customs clearance shall be

done at Alexandria port. It is encouraged to load direct to Port Said (

e.g. direct sailing or Via TS Port to Port Said )

B. HAZARDOUS CARGO

• One MB/L must be issued separately if the container contains

hazardous cargo.

• A penalty of USD 500 will be charged if the general and

hazardous cargo is placed in one MBL.

• Auto -debit of USD 300/ HBL to the Loading Port if a DG cargo is

found in the container starting 15 November 2014 .

C. FOR ALL CARGO TYPES

• File size of pre-alert documents sent via email is limited to 8MB. If

the file size if bigger than this, it has to be sent in partial emails.

• Mandatory to provide packing list and commercial invoice for

each HBL bound for transport to Merghem.

• The body of the HBL must mention MERGHEM BONDED

WAREHOUSE

• Full and correct contact details of the consignee must be

indicated to prevent return of arrival notices.

Direct Sailing Ex- PORTUGAL TO FAREAST HUB

Starting 30 October 2014, Globelink Portugal will be the market leader

by starting the use of MSC service from Portugal to Port Kelang,

Singapore and Hong Kong.

Being MSC is the only carrier calling at Portugal offering direct sailing to

the Fareast destinations, this will shorten the transit time bound for these

Globelink hubs and consequently to all final destinations served by each

ports.
