Case 2

The second case concentrates on the 51-year old man who was found in early morning hours by

his companion in the yard of their family house. According to anamnesis, he was on medical

treatment because of high blood pressure. The examination of the corpse was realized at 05!5

a.m. on "uly #1. The examining physician during the external examination of the body at the

place of death alleged supine position with the limbs and trun$ on the sidewal$ and the head in abed of flowers planted nearby. The conclusion of the examining physician was sudden death

%suspected acute myocardial infarction& due to hypertension' moreo(er, in the death certificate he

stated natural death as the manner of death. The corpse was brought to the )nstitute of forensic

medicine in the afternoon and the autopsy was carried out only the next day.

Autopsy findings entrance firearm wound with circular soot deposition on the boundary line

between the header and the bac$ side of the nec$, a little left from midline %*ig. !&, %The autopsy

was then interrupted and the police was notified. The police came to the place were body was

found approximately after !0 hours since the estimated time of death.&, massi(e haemorrhages in

the muscles at the bac$ of the nec$, more to the left, fired channel going onward, pro+ectile in the

soft tissues under the s$ull basis, more to the left %according to the -ray examination of the

head, *ig. 5, &, two tiny fissures of the s$ull basis, near foramen occipitale magnum to the left,with haemorrhages in the surrounding soft tissues, gentle subarachnoidal haemorrhage in the area

of brain-stem, contusion of pons aroli, local contusion of cerebellum in the left, and massi(e

oedema of the brain. Toxicological analysis did not detect any acti(e toxic substances. /unge test

for the presence of gunpowder was positi(e in the dross of s$in from the surroundings of the

firearm defect. The cause of death central - cerebral death, manner of death attac$ by a shot

from a short gun.

Kasus kedua berkonsentrasi pada seorang laki- laki 51 tahun yang ditemukan di pagi

hari dengan rekannya di halaman rumah keluarga mereka.

Menurut anamnesis, ia sedang dalam pengobatan medis karena tekanan darah

tinggi.

Pemeriksaan pada jenazah dilakukan pukul 05:5 pada !1 "uli.

posisi telentang dengan anggota badan dan bagian ba#ah tubuh terletak di trotoar

dan kepala terletak di tempat bunga- bunga yang ditanam di sekitarnya.

Kesimpulan dari pemeriksaan luar tubuh oleh dokter adalah:

kematian mendadak $diduga in%ark miokard akut& karena hipertensi'

(elain itu, dalam surat kematian dinyatakan )ara kematiannya alami.

Mayat diba#a ke *nstitut kedokteran %orensik di sore hari dan otopsi dilakukan hariberikutnya.

Pada pemeriksaan otopsi ditemuan:

luka tembak masuk

deposisi jelaga melingkar pada garis batas antara garis kepala dan sisi belakang

leher

sedikit ke kiri dari garis tengah tubuh $ +ambar &,

+ambar . uka tembak masuk di garis batas antara kepala dan sisi belakang leher

& topsi dihentikan dan pihak kepolisian telah diberitahukan

saat polisi datang ke tempat ditemukannya tubuh korban

diduga 0 jam sejak perkiraan #aktu kematian.

!& Perdarahan hebat di otot-otot di bagian belakang leher sebelah kiri

proyektil masuk ke dalam jaringan lunak di ba#ah dasar tengkorak sebelah kiri .
