1) The Gel Separator is weak mechanically, specially, Low puncture resistance -- high S/C rate and cell swelling are expected.Low tensile strength -- difficult to use well-established winding technology.

2) Bi-Cell Concept -- the manufacturing process is too complicated and it will result in high manufacturing cost.

3) Very Low Production Yield - 50 - 60%.
