Thank you for purchasing Rigid Industries® products for your GMC®. Installation is fairly simple with the right tools and good mechanical abilities. If you are not confident in your mechanical skills, please seek the help of a professional to perform the installation. Please read through all of these instructions and tips before proceeding with the installation. It is strongly recommended that this product be installed by a professional.

Important

Always disconnect any power sources connected to your vehicle before servicing fuses or electrical systems.

Pinch (3) black tabs and remove fog light. See Figure 3.

Un-clip (6) tabs and remove vanity shroud. See Figure 4.

Un-clip factory fog light. Gently press down on front tab on top to remove factory fog light assembly. See Figure 2.

Un-clip (3) tabs and remove inner ring. See Figure 5.

Remove and save (3) 7mm screws. See Figure 1.

Install (2) 5/16” - 18 x 3/4” long SS Carriage bolts, (2) SS Split lock washers, (2) SS Flat washers, and (2) 5/16” SS nuts. See Figure 7.

Place Rigid Industries vanity plate on fog assembly and mark (4) holes to be drilled with an 8/32” or #29 drill bit and install (4) 8/32” x 1/2” long SS button head bolts and (4) 8/32” SS Nylocs. See Figure 9.

Install D-Series light using hardware provided with the light. See Figure 8.

Install Rigid Industries back plate with (1) 5/16” - 18 x 2” long SS Carriage bolt, (1) 1.25” Long x 0.315” I.D. Spacers, (1) SS Split lock washer, (1) SS Flat washer, and (1) 5/16” SS nut. See Figure 6.

Re-install (3) 7mm bolts saved from Step 1.

Repeat Steps 1 – 10 for remaining fog light.

Wire your lights according to the instructions included with the light. Take care to avoid any heat sources and sharp or abrasive surfaces.
