VOLTAGE FLUCTUATION IS A COMMON PHENOMENON ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. GENERALLY VOLTAGE IS LOW DURING THE DAYTIME BUT HIGH DURING NIGHT HOURS. ALSO VOLTAGE FLUCTUATION IS A SEASONAL PROBLEM.

This unit acts as a control center for the whole regulator, the electronic circuit senses the voltage variation and according to the variation it controls the movement of rollers.

This test is done to check the range of the stabilizer for which it is built, variable input is given to terminals of an AVC and the output is kept open. Firstly minimum voltage of the range is given and the output is checked. Then the maximum voltage of the range is applied and again the output is checked.

ADVANTAGES OF LT OVER HT
In case of malfunctioning of electronic system any stabilizer could go on increasing the output voltage, if this problem happens in HT stabilizer it can damage the distribution t/f. These t/f are more prone to failure with over voltage even for shorter period as compared to over load for longer time. In case same thing happening on LT stabilizer it will not damage the distribution t/f.
