Beyond children, our programs also target the elderly people, helpless mothers and widows that have been most affected by domestic violence. For example,a study by the Uganda Ministry of Gender (2011) ranked the Eastern Region where Mbale is located as having the highest rates at 74%.

Global Neighbor’s Fellowship (GNF) is a nonprofit organiza-tion. It is fully regis-tered by the Regis-trar of Companies of Uganda to carry out charity work within Mbale. GNF was started by a team of passionate young men and women who discovered a need to help and volunvolunteer in their community. GNF has Rev James Wankabi as the Director. GNF started its work in 2015. We have reached out to poor, orphaned childorphaned children with love by provid-ing free education.

We work with a team of pro-fessional social workers, teach-ers, pastors, medical personnel and volunteers from different sectors to reach out to our target groups. And we also have a Charity school called Chari’s Kindergarten and Pri-mary School. Through the school, we have reached out to poor, orphaned children with love by providing free educa-tion.Beneficiaries from the projects:Orphans, Widows, Elderly and the Youth.
