PALrsquoS FIRST ALL-FEMALE FLIGHT

The Philippine Airlines had its first all-female flight deck crew on a wide-body aircraft flying from Riyadh to Manila last October 14 to 15 2020 PAL Spokesperson Cielo Villaluna said the milestone flight was led by Captain Yvonne Sunga a former flight attendant assisted by First Officer May Marie Segovia a former military pilot and Second Officer Marie Rose Ison Maximo also a former flight attendant This flight brightened up my day and made me forget about my worries A flight of female pilots former flight attendants and a former military female pilot Wow thank you ladies for sharing this beautiful sky with me SO Maximo said (Photos courtesy of Cielo Villaluna)

Col Angela Q Rejano for being the first female police chief in the history of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO)

Before being assigned as the chief of Malabon police Rejano was the head of Regional Plans and Strategy Management Division of the NCRPO

Rejano was also the first female chief of police in Sorsogon City and the first female provincial director in the province of Siquijor

During her stint in Siquijor Rejano launched Mariang Pulis the first-ever police station ran by an all-women force in the municipality of Maria
