Go Global is a unique, three-step program that will give you the skills and experience you need to improve your position in the global talent pool.

STEP 1Develop global communication skills

Study a quality 10 or 15 week intensive English language program and get the skills and confidence you need to communicate with the global business world. Choose from General, Business and Advanced courses.

Today’s global workforce is competitive.To get ahead you need fluent English language and cross-cultural communication skills, practical work experience, initiative and confidence.

The easiest way to get these skills and secure the job you want is to ‘Go Global’.

STEP 2Prepare for the global workforce

Undertake a professional development program and quickly develop the practical workplace skills that multinational companies are looking for.

You will receive a total of 30 hours of specialised workplace preparation training. Sessions will be delivered part-time during step 1 and as an intensive block before progressing to step 3.

AccommodationICTE-UQ homestay accommodation is available for Go Global program participants in 2018 for a weekly fee of AUD$ 260 (plus a one-off placement fee of AUD$ 260).

ICTE-UQ will be closed on the following public holidays: 1 January, 26 January, 30 March, 2 April, 25 April, 7 May, 15 August, 1 October, 25-26 December 2018. ICTE-UQ will also be closed for Christmas and New Year holidays from 25 December 2018 - 1 January 2019 inclusive.
