(B, L, D)**Day 10**Aug 14 Masai Mara – SerengetiEnjoy breakfast before checking out. We will take picnic lunch boxes with us as we drive across Isebania Border to Serengeti. Upon arrival, a guide who will also be our driver, will meet us and take us to Serengeti National Park, one of the best game parks in Tanzania. Covering 14,763 square kilometres and stretching west to Lake Victoria, this world famous park is Tanzania's oldest and one of the world's last great wildlife refuges. Its name comes from the Masai word Siringitu meaning “endless plains”. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

(B, L, D)**Day 11**Aug 15 SerengetiAfter breakfast, we depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of Game Viewing Drives on the vast Serengeti Plains. In the early morning and evening light, the Serengeti landscape is stunningly beautiful. The Rolling plains and grasslands, stretching far into the horizons, are home to wildlife animals including the black-maned lion, the savannah elephant, leopard and the spotted and striped hyena. Because of its biodiversity and ecological significance, Serengeti National Park has been listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. As a national park, it is designated as a Category II protected area under the system developed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Enjoy dinner and stay another night at our lodge.

(B, L, D)**Day 12**Aug 16 Serengeti – NgorongoroEnjoy an early morning Game Drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch, we depart for Ngorongoro. First, we will stop at Oldupai Gorge Museum, one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world where we will have an on-site lesson about human evolution and the interpretation of the gorge by a resident docent. Next, we will visit an authentic Masai Village before we check in at our lodge, have lunch, relax, and enjoy the breath-taking spectacular views of the crater below our lodge. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and has been described as one of the great natural wonders of the world. Spectacular as it is, the crater accounts for a mere tenth of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The crater is home to many species of wild game and birds, with the exception of cheetahs, impalas and topis (due to fierce competition with the wildebeest) and giraffes (not enough food at tree level). It has the densest population of predators in Africa and almost every species of African plain mammals live in the crater including the endangered black rhino. The birdlife, which includes the flamingo, is mainly seasonal and affected by the ratio of soda to fresh water in Lake Magadi on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight stay at the crater lodge.

(B, L, D)**Day 9**Aug 13 Masai MaraEnjoy breakfast at the Lodge before a Full Day of Game Viewing Drives and adventure. We are just in time for the greatest spectacle on earth: the eighth wonder of the world – the Wildebeest Migration. Over 1.5 million wildebeests migrate annually to Masai Mara in search of pasture. En route, thousands of wildebeests are carried into the raging waters while others are captured and killed by giant crocodiles. The wildebeests are closely followed by Burchell’s zebras and impalas. Predators in packs of hundreds also follow and lay in wait for the animals that become weak or incapacitated during the long journey for a kill. We may be lucky to witness a leopard or a cheetah sprint and make a kill! We will return to the camp for dinner and stay another night.

**Day 13**Aug 17 Ngorongoro – Arusha – BangkokAfter breakfast, we descend some 600 meters into the crater for a Morning Game Viewing Drive. There are very few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes, natural and breath-taking beauty exist inside a region this size as Ngorongoro Crater. Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater is of great archaeological importance, including the discovery of remains of some of mankind’s earliest ancestors. The crater is also home to hundreds of bird species relaxing in the small lakes on the crater floor. We will go back to our lodge for lunch before driving to Arusha. After dinner, we will transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport and take a flight to Bangkok, Thailand.

**Day 14**Aug 18 BangkokArrive at Bangkok International Airport at noon time and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. The only nation in Southeast Asia to escape colonial rule, Thailand offers a rich and ancient culture that flowered unhindered by Western influence. Proud and strongly nationalistic, the Thai people call their nation Muang Thai - "Land of the Free."

**Day 15**Aug 19 BangkokBangkok is the capital and most populous city of Thailand. Founded in 1782 by King Rama I, Bangkok is home to more than eight million people. The capital's proper name is Krung Thep - the "City of Angels." After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will have a day of leisure. Explore the charming city on your own or relax and roam around the hotel.

**Day 16**Aug 20 Bangkok – HonoluluWe will take a flight back to Honolulu via Taipei, taking home lasting memories of a magnificent African adventure.
