Building Blocks Defined• Building blocks are reusable

pieces of content or other document parts.• Examples of building blocks

are headers, footers, page number formats.• They are stored in galleries.

• You can create your own customized building blocks for content that you use frequently.

Manually Hyphenating a Document • On the Layout tab, in the

Page Setup group, click Hyphenation.• Click Manual to display

Manual Hyphenation: English(United States) dialog box.

• In the Hyphenate at box with the word displayed, click Yes.•When a message displays

indicating that hyphenation is complete, click OK.


Comments Defined

Comment – a note that an author or reviewer adds to a document. Comments are a good way to communicate when more than one person is involved with the writing, reviewing, and editing notes.

Editing and Deleting Comments• To Edit a comment, select

the comment and make the necessary changes.• To Delete a comment, place

your insertion point positioned in the comment. On the Reviewers tab, in the Comment group, click the

click on the comment and from the shortcut menu, click Delete Comment.
