At breakfast, challenge
one another to use the
word hope at least four
times during the day. At
supper, share your stories.
Read 1 Peter 1:3, and talk
about the hope we have in
Jesus.
God Gives Us Hope Through Jesus’ Resurrection
FAMILY CHALLENGE How did you feel when you were looking forward to eating out at
the restaurant, going to the movie, or attending the special event?
How is Jesus like or unlike a ticket that gets us into a special
place?
Who can you tell this week about Jesus being our ticket into
heaven?
Ticket of Hope
Talk about these questions together:
Purchase a gift certificate to a favorite
restaurant, or a ticket to a movie,
amusement park, or local event your
family would look forward to.
Pray and thank God for allowing us to hope in the promise of heaven because of Jesus.
Together with your family read 1 Peter 1:3-6. Talk about the “wonderful joy ahead” and what that means to you. Check out what it looks like to hope in the joy ahead!
Before attending the fun activity, re-read 1 Peter 1:3-6 together.
