My dear Friend,We live in an amazing age! When no one was looking, young Samuel

got busy on his mother’s computer. After a while, he called out, “Mom, what is our VISA number?”

“Sam, what do you want my VISA number for?”

“I’m going to order a shirt and pants for me online.”

His mother checked his order. Everything was correct. She punched the VISA number into the computer.

A few days later, the shirt and pants arrived in the mail. They fitted perfectly.

Sam was four. This is the age of computers, websites,

and internet, and we’d all better be up with our children!—and grandchildren, and great-grand-children!

Of course, we have known that A Visit with Mrs. G must keep up with today’s high-tech generation of young people. But we have been overloaded with the work we have been doing for forty years: answering the mail requests for books and CDs of Bible stories, and preparing

new books for printing. In order to go internet, we needed a new kind of helper.

Now the Lord has answered our prayer and provided a wonderful helper. So when we are asked for the stories on internet, we will no lon-ger have to say, “Oh, we’re so sorry—not yet.” We won’t have to say that any longer.

God has sent us a highly qualified profes-sional who has graciously volunteered to have (his own words) “the privilege” of putting Bible Stories Alive on internet. His own children enjoy the stories on CDs, and he feels that children everywhere should have the same joy and help through internet.

So, in due course, Bible Stories Alive will be heard on the internet worldwide. “This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes.”

MY TESTIMONYFrom a prisoner in a Maximum Security Prison

I count it a blessing to receive your quick gift of books and your letter and Christmas card.

I have been isolated for many years, and I've felt alone. Nobody has corresponded with me. And this is why I honour you much, Mom in Christ. Thanks a million for your wonderful letter and books that contained the word of encour-agement.

You rekindled my faith—as Paul told Timothy to stir up like a fire the gift of God which was in him. Truly, this is how I feel in my heart. I am rejoicing and praising God.

You see, we prisoners some-times feel a great emptiness, crying to God night and day. But when we associate with God’s people, the personal interest they show in us becomes encouragement. They become our brothers and sisters, or fathers and mothers to us.

This is very true as King Solomon of ancient Israel declared: Two are better than one. For if one falls down, his partner can raise him up (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

I used to have moments of great depression. I felt very sad. But after learning about God, I feel that I can have a close relationship with God. This has come to be the most valuable thing in my life. And I only invite you to speak and encourage me in the Lord so that I may grow, as did young Timothy, to become strong as a pillar.

You asked to hear about my studies. I'm enjoying daily use of Bible Stories Alive. Instead of be-ing concerned about "my" purpose, you have given me a global insight on God's purpose and His divine will. So, thank you for opening and expanding my mind to know the true God. It's not about me, but about Himself!

I continue to study. Please send me the next book as you promised. Also you can include CDs, if possible, and radio with batteries so that I can enjoy to listen to your broadcast over Trans World Radio.

My dear friend and mom in Christ, I want to tell you my short testimony. One day I was reading the book of Hebrews 12:5-18.

“And have you completely forgot-ten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father ad-dresses his son? It says,

‘My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disci-plines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.’

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?”

As I read these words, I felt my eyes watering and the tears running down my cheeks. I felt very ashamed of my sin, but I was strengthened by a humble prayer to my God. And I knew He had listened and forgiven me in abun-dance. Praise be to God!

Thank you for your clear explanation of Scripture. I con-tinue to study your books with my fellow inmates every Sunday evening. They are amazed at what is revealed in the study.

We act, dramatize and compose poems about the love of Jesus. We go out once a month to the neigh-bouring schools to demonstrate.
