God is Triune (Three In One): Father, Son, And Holy Ghost.

2 Corinthians 13:14:14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and thelove ofGod,and the communion (close association) of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

Matthew 3:16-17: 16And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway outof the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the (Holy)

Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:17

And lo a voicefrom heaven, saying, This is my (God the Father's) beloved Son (Christ), inwhom I am well pleased.

Matthew 28:19:19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name ofthe Father, and of

the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Note: This verse is often referred to as the GREAT COMMISSION.

Baptizing is symbolic of having died to sin through having been born again, buried in water and resurrected

to a new life. It is representative of Christ dying on the cross, being buried in the tomb and resurrected fromthe grave. We identify with Christ through the act of baptism.

    1 John 5:7:7

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word(Christ), and the HolyGhost: and these three are one. Note: These three are completely God individually and completely God

    collectively.

Beyond the aforementioned there are many Scripture verses which indicate God is more than one person.Yet, God is one in unity (agreement), one in purpose (objective) and one in nature (Spirit).

As Jesus said in John 10:30:"I and the Father are one" and in John 14:9:9Jesus replied, Have I been withall of you for so long a time, and do you not recognize and know Me yet, Philip? Anyone who has seen Mehas seen the Father. How can you say then, Show us the Father? (Although Jesus was human, he was

speaking of Himself and the Father as being the same Spiritnot "of the same Spirit" but THE SAME

    SPIRIT).

God is Spirit and is omnipresent. His Spirit came to earth and was embodied in Jesus, His Spirit remainedin heaven as the Father and His Spirit became the divine counselor in the Holy Spirit.

How Can One Be Three And Three Be One?

I was wondering how to make clear the concept of Godbeing one and yet being threeoften referred to as

the three in one or the trinity. It's difficult to get my head around how one entity (God) can manifest

Himself in three forms (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and all retain the attributes of the single unit (God). I thinkthe problem of understanding this concept likely has something to do with the fact that I live in the physical

realm and God dwells in the Spiritual. For sure, that which is in the spiritual has different capabilities fromthat of the physical. In the physical, I see three things as being separate and distinct from one thing, whereasin the spiritual realm this seemingly is not the situation. What is at issue is how a physical being (me, you)

can understand an abstract spiritual concept. So here I go at giving it my best shot to try to clarify this

    apparent inconsistency.

The first thing we have to settle is the fact that there is one God.

    1 Timothy 2:5: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

The second thing we have to settle is the fact that God is Spirit and not a physical being.

John 4:24:24God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and

    in truth (reality).

Now the fact that God is Spirit permits Him to be omnipresentor everywhere at once. That is to say, His

energy, power, force, vigor, etc. is infinite (unbounded). However, just to make sure I am correct in this

statement I am going to refer to the following biblical verses.

Psalm 139:8:If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

Jeremiah 23:23-24:Am I a God at hand (close by), saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can any hidehimself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the

    Lord.

For a really good read on the omnipresence of God see Psalm 139 in its entirety.

Ok, although it is a little abstract, I think I can stretch my mind around the fact that there is one God,He isSpirit and can be everywhere at once. That is, there is no place to go where God is not already there.

Now how do we get around the three expressions of God, namely Father, Son and Holy Spirit? What we now have to understand is that God's power is made up of energized particles and that He is able to

divide them. The neat part is that each particle continues as the whole (the one) and is complete within

itself. Therefore, the whole is God and each particle is God.

When one understands this concept, it becomes easy to understand how there can be One God in Three

Persons each of which is God. What the logistics of process were with respect to one becoming three etc, I

do not know nor understand if I did.

It is interesting to note that man is also made up of energy particles called atoms which are held together by

units called Laminins. The energy particles from which we are constructed provide for a continuous life

giving electrical field about and within us. Now since God is energy, as I have previously indicated, and hebreathed the spirit of life into us it should not be surprising that we being made in His image have His life

force or energy as part of our makeup. The spirit of life, which is God given, is our power pack so as to

speak and keeps our bodies running as long as we live. Upon death, the energy field collapses and the spiritor power source of life returns to God. Seems it is just on loan until we no longer need it.

Ecclesiastes 12:7: 7Then shall the dust (out of which God made man's body) return to the earth as it was,

and the spirit (life force) shall return to God Who gave it.

Although The Human Body Is Of A Lowly State, It Is Fearfully And Wonderfully

    Made.

Psalm 139:14:14I will praise thee; forI am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; andthat my soul (me, I) knoweth right well.

To appreciate how wonderfully and intricately the human body is constructed, we must take a trip down tothe molecular level via the electron microscope. Here we find cell adhesion molecules called Laminins.

According to Encyclopedia Wilkipedia, Laminins are a family of proteins that are a vital part of the

structural scaffolding of basement membranes in almost every tissue. Literally they are cell adhesion

molecules. They are what holds one cell of our bodies to the next cell. Without them, we would literally

fall apart. Ok, we know what Laminins do but what do they look like?

If you look up laminin in any scientific/medical piece of literature, this is what you will see....

The adhesive that holds us together.... ALL of us.... Is in the shape of the cross. The exact shape which

centuries later would be the vehicle upon which Christ would die so that all who would so choose could

return to God. Laminins seem to foreshadow the cross and it's purpose from the time of creation. Not only

do they bind each of us together as individuals, but their cross shape serves as a reminder that we are fromGod and that He will bind us to Himself through his Son Jesus Christ who died on a cross. God left His

marker(precursor) in each one of usChrist paid the debt and all we have to do is accept the gift. How

    marvellous.

Colossians 1:15-17:15 He (Christ) is the exact (spiritual) likeness of the unseen God (the visible

representation of the invisible); He (Christ) is the Firstborn of all creation. 16For it was in Him (Christ) thatall things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions,

rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him (by His service, intervention) and in and

for Him. 17And He Himself existed before all things, and IN HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST(sticktogether, are held together, go together).

Have you ever noticed that when you are standing erect with your legs together and

arms outstretched that you make the shape of a CROSS. Interesting eh!
