Corruption – something good turns badNow the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, “You must not eat from any tree in the garden?” - Genesis 3:1When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. - Genesis 3:6Then the LORD God said to the woman, ‘What is this you have done?”  The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” - Genesis 3:13

CatastropheThe LORD then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.” - Genesis 7:1 For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. -Genesis 7:17Every living thing that moved on land perished - birds, livestock, wild animals, all thecreatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. - Genesis 7:19

ConfusionNow the whole world had one language and a common speech. - Genesis 11:1 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth. - Genesis 11:8-9

ChristNow Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. - Luke 3:23Then he went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath he taught the people.
