God’s WillHebrews 1:1-3 (ESV)

1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. 3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.

Isaiah 55 : 6-9 (ESV)

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;7 let the wicked forsake his way. And the unrighteous man his thoughts;let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

God’s LoveHuman Love = FLAWED• “I Love you because …”

• “You make me happy”

• “You take care of me”

• “You are pretty”

• “You are funny”

• “You complete me”

• Etc…

God’s Love = PERFECT• “I Love you in Spite of…”

• “How unhappy you make me”

• “Your carelessness w/me”

• “Your flaws”

• “Your lack of personality”

• “You hurt me”

• Etc…

“God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us…” Romans 5:8

God’s LOVE is perfect , because HE is perfect … HE is flawless …

HE is HOLY!

The Lord is NOT slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness , but he is patient towards you , not wishing that ANY would perish – but that ALL would come to REPENTANCE– 2 Peter 3:9
