Soft, smooth-skinned Terra-Tires, manufactured by Goodyear, provide insurance against damage to fairways by golf cars. Because af high flotation and low ground-bearing pressure of Terra-Tires, cars, it is said, can be driven through sand traps (not a recommended practice) without digging into the sond. The tires wiil not sink into the turf or leave ruts even when fairways ore rain-drenched.
