Following is a list of Health courses offered to secondary school students. All of these programs are delivered online:•Certificate III in Allied Health •Certificate III in Health Services Assistance•8 health / nursing units which gives credit toward the Diploma of Nursing
School Programs - Entry RequirementsEnrolment is dependent upon candidates meeting the following pre-entry criteria:•Must be a minimum 15 years of age •Must be going into Year 11, having completed Year 10 with a sound achievement in English •Applicants should also possess basic computer skills including being able to operate a personal computer and printer, create and manage basic files, navigate a learning management system, perform basic tasks such as word processing, sending and receiving emails with attachments, uploading and downloading documents and using web based search engines
Certificate III HSAGraduates can be an Assistant in Nursing, Nursing Support Worker, Patient Service Attendant, Patient Care Assistant, Wardsperson and Orderly.This program articulates into the HLT51607 Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing).Pay rate: $23 – $25 per hourMedian annual wage: Approx. $45,000

Certificate III and IV AHA
• Job opportunities include: therapy assistant, physiotherapy assistant, occupational therapy assistant, podiatry assistant, speech pathology assistant, and general allied health assistant in a range of settings such as aged care facilities, hospitals and community organisations.
• Pay rate: $45-50,000 per year
Enrolled Nurse• Enrolled nurses work under the
supervision of a registered nurse to provide patients, from all backgrounds and ages, with nursing care. Within their scope of practice, ENs are accomplished in the practical skills of nursing, with advanced ENs able to undertake more complex procedures.
• Pay rate: $25 - $27 per hour• Median annual wage: Approx. $ 50,000
