Part One Hook: Ledra has talked to Greytar and Regulus, this has confirmed their suspicions about Borandrus. But they need hard proof; Borandrus is well connected in the City States. They need the dies or to extract damning testimony from someone else involved. They assume that he is the mastermind. I want the PC's to plan out how they are going to accomplish this, they know the keep and their team well enough they should be able to pull his off Line: Things that WILL happen *Nargus gets drunk at the Tilted keg and gets fresh with Kandie, Gnat is there to back him up -Use bar map and make a bar fight!!!!!!!!!! *The PC’s are introduced to Harcus, Shonain Cleric, befriends Marcus (use his flaws) -Bar fight may be a way to do this, also drop a few hits that he and the Prefect are friends -Harcus has Dragon Speak and will use it on Marcus to find out about their involvement with the gold plot, he will see the opportunity to cozy up to the prefect and corrupt him *Once Nargus gets wind they are snooping or hears about the mine claim, he hatches a plan to kill the PC's . He sets a trap. The PC's learn that they are getting the raw gold nuggets and leaving in the dead of night via caves beneath the keep. They are waiting for the PC's *They will be confronted by Nargus and Gnat along with 6 Soldiers for a fight, Nargus will call Jordan out for one on one combat. - Borandrus will only be there if he is aware of the danger -during the combat Gnat will engage Cliff specifically Line: Things that can/may happen *If PC's try to sneak into a place and fine clues -risk getting caught by guards, or residents -Moss can help them get into the Upper Bailey, but will only do if asked specifically. -Low hanging fruit would be the Blacksmiths or the Armorer's *If PC's try and extract a confession out of a gold conspirator -The Soldiers don't know much, they “think” the prefect was

*If PC's try and extract a confession out of a gold conspirator-The Soldiers don't know much, they “think” the prefect was involved but never actually saw him engage in the conspiracy, Nargus implied they had “official sanction” and “friends in high places now”. None of this would hold up in court.-Nargus could pin it on the Prefect, Gnat never would unless Nargus told him too-The Merchants know of the Prefect's involvement and can produce evidence (documents, dies)

*If PC's are caught and overpowered they will be placed in the dungeons, Moss will be thrown in as well and you will be called “Wussy Zeus zealots try to overthrow the keep”

Hullaman will mount a rescue, getting them out though the duengeon, to a confrontation with Nargus

*If the PC's obtain evidence without confrontation, they will be asked to escort one of the acolytes to Arz with a letter from Regulus, they will be ambushed on the way by Nargus and his

goons*Nargus may have an opportunity to kidnap Kandie or Elroy and hold them hostage to escape.*Nargus decides to betray Far'Raven, pin the gold conspiracy on him, get rid of the PC's

– If this happens pull Harcus in for his Clerical support in corrupting the keep

Part Two

Hook: PC’s are asked to sneak out with one of the acolytes carrying a letter from Regulus to Arz, assuming the guards are slain, they will get to Arz without much of a problem

-have them role-play the case to the magistrate, the letter will help but he needs to be convinced this is legit, let them explain the situation to him

Line: Upon return the keep is on lockdown, Hullman meets them on the trail, perhaps during a small ambush by a guard patrol sent out to meet them, Nargus’ death put Borandus in panic mode and his new friend Harcus has been using the situation to his advantage, they are wanted men and the guards have been ordered to kill on site. Hullman barely escaped when they came to arrest Regulus and Greytar,, Lidera , Greytar, and Regulus have been put in the dungeon, Hullman knows a way to get to them and into the keep, but it’s dangerous, he got out but now Harcus has put some undead in te caverns to hunt him down and guard against his return

Sinker: Though the tunnels to the Prison and then a confrontation with Harcus and Borandus
