This animal resembles a lion. It is a littlemonkey with golden color. It looks like alion because of its orange mane. It entirebody except its face is red.

The Golden Lion Tamarin weighs up to800g in adulthood. Normally its weightvaries between 400 and 800g.

�HabitahThe animal lives in Brazil in themountainous region of southwestern Riode Janeiro.

�DietThe tamarins feed mainly on fruits,insects, small vertebrates and bird eggs.Incidentally, also they feed nectar, flowersas well as liana.
