for the elderly for caregivers, as well as providing a place for elder loved ones to go while their caregivers are elsewhere.
Why Punta Gorda, Florida?
• Senior citizens: 30.5% of populationo Voted #1 in Cities With the Most Old People in
America• As of the census of 2000:
o There were 14,344 people, 7,165 households, and 5,187 families residing in the city.
o 15.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older
o The median age was 64 years
What Makes You a Good Addition to the Community?• Allows loved one to stay in his or her community

Our Mission Statement
• Our day care center will provide various care services, supervision, and social interaction for our elderly participants, which will in turn provide relief for caregivers. Our mission is to provide social activities, meals, and various health care services for our participants to enhance their lives.
Our Goals• To keep our elderly participant mobile, active, and
healthy through exercise programs and therapy. • To mentally stimulate the participants through
learning programs.• To teach and continue life skills• To enhance the lives of our participants through
social, spiritual, educational, cultural, and religious programs in conjunction with nursing and rehabilitation care.
