Charter Member receive unlimited green fees; 30-day in advance tee times; use of driving range and practice facilities; a 20 percent discount on se-lect merchandise in the pro shop; a 10 percent discount on food and beverage; accompanied member guest rate; preferred pricing on golf

instruction; participation in members only events, clinics, and tournaments; complemen-tary USGA handicap scoring; extended family membership; among other things. The Golf Membership includes first season dues and automatic family membership with the initiation fee. Don’t sit inside this fall and winter once the tem-perature drops. Many golf courses are still open, at least part time during the cooler months in this area. Staying at home, you’ll miss the beautiful views and fantastic exercise you could be enjoying.

Here are 5 ways you can keep golfing – all year long!

1. Warm hands, comfortable grip Hand warmers are a fantastic way to keep your hands warm on cool days at the course. You can pick them up at just about any department, sporting goods, or golfing store and stow them away, just in case. An ex-cellent pair of golfing gloves is also a way to help your grip and keep warm. Warm hands can go a long way to protecting your golf game and your comfort.

2. Warm from the inside Pack some coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, or soup in a thermos and keep handy. In between holes you can sip away, warming you from the inside, out. This little boost during your game will also give you the energy you need to perform well and keep moving.

3. Dress in layers Not only layers that you can pile on or peel off as your game progresses, but keep in mind these amazing ad-vancements in apparel technology: wind resistant jackets, moisture wicking materials, and specialized pants just for adventurous cold-weather golfers. Check with your local golf pro or poke around your favorite pro shop. You are sure to find what you need to keep warm and comfy.

4. Skin Saver Just because it isn’t burning hot, doesn’t mean you don’t need to protect your skin. Wind and sun filtering through clouds can also damage our sensitive faces. Remember to lather up with sunscreen even in winter with at least an SPF of 30. Golfing keeps us fit and feeling young – keep looking young, too!

5. Keep Moving Constant motion will keep your muscles warm and limber. Make sure you stretch and warm up before heading out on the course to prevent injury. If your course allows, walk the course instead of ride. It will keep your heart pumping between shots and help you feel warmer. If you must ride, keep your feet moving while awaiting your turn. Wiggle your toes and fingers, bend your knees, or jog in place.
